Title EDI Specialist Overview of Position The Change Healthcare team is seeking an EDI Specialist to assist with the implementation and support of a robust healthcare transaction processing platform. The individual will be responsible for maintaining healthcare transaction processing applications like Foresight Instream/Transaction Insight and Corepoint Integration Engine.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Maintain numerous host instances of Foresight validating both EDI and XML transactions.

Use Corepoint to construct ETL maps for bulk loading of data from numerous health plans.

Support and enhance a robust healthcare transaction processing platform by developing edits and business rules.

Experience with configuring Business Process Monitoring (BPM) applications for exception monitoring and alerting.

Develop and maintain web-based applications and dashboards to reflect system, application, and event statuses.

Create automation and scheduling of processes and jobs related to healthcare transaction processing.

Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes as needed.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years of healthcare transaction processing experience Experience with Java, Python, and Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Loader Experience with XML schemas (XSD) development Experience with API development Experience with JavaScript, IIS, CSS3, JDBC/ODBC, XML, and HTML 5 Experience with Windows Server, Linux command line, and batch/shell scripting  What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

Experience with maintaining systems in an AWS environment Experience with HealthCare Transaction processing, Clearinghouse Operations, X12 EDI How much should I expect to travel?
