Area Operations Manager – Dallas clinics

Prima Care Medical Centers

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, GA posted December 11, 2020.

nn Send internal transfers with above information to Amber Alcott in Human Resources at This position has the responsibility of providing operational leadership within the grouping of three to eight clinics, assuring clinical and service quality, regulatory compliance, strong financial performance, budget achievement and growth.

This individual works in collaboration with the District Manager and Regional Vice President to implement and oversee initiatives and strategies of the company.

Provides leadership and support for the clinics within the assigned area of responsibility to include: nn Responsible for supervising the Clinic Managers of area clinics Establishes action plans and goals to achieve clinic growth, budgeted profit, clinical quality and service expectations in conjunction with the respective Clinic Managers and medical staff Proactively addresses clinical or compliance issues and implements solutions/ corrective action Communicates in an effective/ professional manner with clinic associates and Resource Center staff to ensure goals are comprehended and attained Consults with Clinic Managers on day-to-day operational issues Collaborates with Clinic Managers to assure adequate and competent personnel at clinic sites Creates, manages and sustains relationships with Clinic Managers, providers and Regional Medical Directors, sufficient to achieve local and Company goals and objectives Supports the development of the clinic budgets in collaboration with the Clinic Manager, CFO, District Manager and Regional Vice President Assures compliance with laboratory regulations, HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory bodies in designated clinics.

Supports the attraction and retention of talent.

Provides support to Clinic Managers in human resource leadership.

nn Growth: Works in collaboration with Sales & Marketing to identify and implement mechanisms to secure new patient volume and favorably distinguish the company from its competitors Assures that service standards are being achieved.

Monitors the scorecards for opportunities for improvement as it relates to the patient experience, right-coding, and reimbursement for services rendered Represents the company at events dedicated to raising awareness about the company and its services Budget Achievement: Accountable with the Clinic Manager for achieving individual clinic budgets Ensures clinic visit and financial growth Identifies and implements cost containment strategies Monitors staffing of clinical and administrative personnel based on historical and current volume trends to ensure productivity and growth targets.

Evaluates and implements strategies for target net charges per visit as well as revenue and collectibles per visit commensurate with patient acuity and patient mix Proactively and in collaboration with the Clinic Manager, District Manager and RVP, determines capital equipment needs and budgets accordingly Participates and contributes to strategic and project plans Clinic Management: In collaboration with the Clinic Manager and Human Resources, oversees recruitment and onboarding of clinic personnel nn Hires, oversees, and evaluates the performance of Clinic Managers Authorizes staff additions Approves continuing education and leadership development for clinic personnel Ensures that company policies and procedures are administered and followed; Makes recommendations for improvements in process and policy based on field experience Assures care delivery and administrative procedures are carried out in accordance with the company Compliance Plan Monitors clinical care and delivery to ensure a quality clinical product is provided on a consistent basis Monitors the door to door patient experience and assures that care and service are being delivered consistent with the Company mission and goals Supports clinic personnel in achievement of targets and professional growth Establishes relationship with medical providers and works collaboratively with the Regional Medical Director and Senior Vice President of Professional Services to assure that care is being delivered in accordance with medical best practices and in compliance with Company’s Compliance Plan Assures that the clinic achieves licensure or accreditation with the appropriate entities where applicable Oversees/Coordinates training and education of Clinic Managers and other clinic employees Treats patients and co-workers consistent with the NextCare Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.

Performs other related duties as assigned or described in Company policy.

nn ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent Experience: Progressive leadership in healthcare operations and management VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Healthcare or Related Field Experience: Experience with multi-site healthcare operations and a track record in growth REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Clinic Manager nn
